Pause your administration so that no actions are performed temporarily.
There may be several reasons to temporarily pause your administration. It may be wise to pause administrations at the time when the automatic import task fails. Similarly, if you go on holiday and the accounts are not updated by a colleague, it can be wise to set the application to 'Reminders paused'.
Good to know: You can only pause and resume an administration on the spot. It is not possible in Payt to schedule a pause, so the administration is automatically paused and resumed at a predetermined time.
What is the difference between 'Reminders paused' or 'Fully paused'?
- Reminders paused - Invoice sending is performed, no reminders are sent
- Fully paused - Invoice sending and sending reminders are not performed
You can set this for each administration by going to the administration settings from the administration dashboard, via the cogwheel in the top right. Under 'Invoicing', you can pause and resume the administration as desired.
Don't forget to click 'Save changes' at the bottom of the page.
How do I resume my administration?
Go back to the 'Invoicing' settings and click 'Active'. Save your changes to resume your administration.
My administration is locked, how do I put it live?
You will see the following warning if your administration is locked. You cannot resume this independently, as the administration needs to be checked by a Payt employee. Please contact your implementation specialist to have the administration checked.
