How do I edit my bank account number?

Does your company have a new bank account number? Then it's import to change this in Payt.

An organisation in Payt can have multiple bank account numbers. These can be selected in the settings of an administration that belongs to that company.

Add a bank account

To add a new bank account, first click on the Payt logo in the top left corner of the screen. This will send you to the organisation dashboard. From this dashboard you can click on the button for organisation settings.

In the settings window you can open the 'Bank details' tab on the left side of the screen. Now, choose 'Add bank account' to add your bank account.

Please note: Any changes in this screen will need to be confirmed. The user submitting the change will receive an email with a confirmation code. This code can be entered in the same screen.

Assign a bank account to an administration

To start using the new bank account, it will need to be assigned to an administration. To do this, first open the administration. From within the administration, clicking the cogwheel icon in the top right corner of your screen will open the administration settings.

On the left side of these settings you will see a tab 'Bank details'. On this page, you'll be able to link the added bank account to your administration.


To add or assign a bank account, the Payt user will require admin access. When adding a bank account, we will ask you to enter your password as extra verification.
