2025-11 Payt Update: November
At Payt, we work every day on new features, improved usability and optimal performance. In November, we have introduced several improvements that we are happy to share with you.
'Online payments' settings made clearer
We have improved the settings page for online payments. It is now even clearer which provider you use for which type of payment, and a clear distinction is made between the PSP (Payment Service Provider) for direct debit and the one for online payments.

Improvements to label visibility
For a long time, you have been able to assign labels to invoices, customers and debt collection cases in Payt. This month, we have improved two things about these labels:
- Labels are now visible in the search results when you use the search bar at the top right of Payt.

- Labels of customers are now visible on the invoice page, so you no longer need to label invoices separately if you always want to see the customer label on the invoice.

CC or BCC emails for standard messages
It has been possible to create standard messages for several years already. You can set this up in the administration settings under the 'Messages' tab on the left. You can use these standard messages to quickly and easily prepare messages that you send to customers frequently.
From this month onwards, you can add a CC or BCC email address to the standard messages, so that specific email addresses always receive an email when you send a particular standard message.

New settings page for interest
A new page has been added to the administration settings allowing you to configure interest. It was already possible to configure interest, but it has now been moved to a new page where you can set separate interest rules for B2B and B2C customers.

Enforcing SSO regardless of the SSO provider
Does your organisation use SSO to log in to Payt? You can now require all users within the organisation to log in using SSO. This was already possible for Microsoft SSO, but as of this month, it is possible regardless of the SSO provider.
You can enforce mandatory SSO login in the organisation settings under the 'Security' tab.
Changing online portal settings per customer
VIa the 'Customer portal' tab in the administration settings, you could already decide whether customers were allowed to view all their invoices via the online invoice portal, or only specific invoices. From this month onwards, you can adjust this per customer.
Go to the customer page and select 'Customer settings' at the top right. Open the 'Customer portal' tab. Here you can determine which invoices the customer may view in the online portal. This setting overrides the default administration settings.

Paying debt collection cases from the overview in online portal
If a customer has access to all outstanding invoices and debt collection cases via the online portal, they can easily go to an overview of everything that is still outstanding. From this month onwards, a customer can also pay debt collection cases directly from that overview, without having to open the page of the debt collection case first.
