Which user rights can I choose from?

Here you can read about the difference between user rights within Payt.

To find the permissions of your users, click at the Payt logo at the top left of your screen to get to your organisation dashboard. Click on 'Organisation settings' at the top right and find the 'Users' tab.Within Payt, rights can be assigned at organisation and administration level.

  • Organisation level - when rights are granted at the organisation level, they automatically apply to all underlying administrations. The user has access to all administrations.
  • Administration rights - where access can be granted to one or more administrations.

In addition, there are various access levels that can be assigned.

  • Administrator rights - the user has all options within Payt, including pausing, creating payment arrangements and sending messages towards the debtor.
  • Normal rights - the user has rights to all debtor management actions, but cannot change settings.
  • Communication rights - the user has rights to view the organisation and underlying administrations. The user can also send notes and messages.
  • Restricted rights - the user has rights to view the organisation and underlying administrations. The user can also edit notes.
  • No rights - selecting this option allows you to grant a user rights per administration. Again, you have the option to choose between administrator rights, normal rights, communication rights, and restricted rights.

Please note: Only a user with full organisational-level rights can create a new user or administration.
