What is a UBL invoice?
A UBL invoice is a digital invoice in .XML format. Its structured layout allows it to be processed automatically by the customer's accounting system - no manual entry needed.
How are UBL invoices sent via Payt?
Payt supports two delivery methods for UBL invoices.
- As an email attachment. You can choose to include the UBL invoice as an extra attachment in the invoice email. To enable this feature, contact the Payt service desk. Note: some customers may use automated invoice processing tools that struggle with emails containing multiple attachments.
- Via the Peppol network: You can connect your Payt administration to Peppol. The UBL invoice will then be sent electronically through the Peppol network. You can also choose to send a regular email to the customer, including a PDF copy of the invoice.
