In Payt, you can export a lot of data to Excel, such as your customers, invoices, cases, users, and more.
What data can I export from Payt?
- Customers
- Invoices
- Cases
- Declarations (if you use the Clearing module)
- Validation errors from imports
- Online payments
- Tasks from the task list
How do I perform an export?
On the page of the data you want to export, select the desired rows. Then choose 'Bulk actions' > 'Export to Excel' in the top-right corner.
How do I determine which columns are included in the export?
You can decide which columns you want to see in the export from Payt. You can do so through the export settings:
- Click on your name in the top-right corner of Payt
- Choose the 'Export settings' tab on the left
For each type of export, select which columns you want to include by checking or unchecking the fields. Save your changes at the bottom of the page via 'Save changes'.
How do I determine exactly what data is exported?
Depending on the data you’re exporting, you may only want to export part of the data. For example, when exporting customers, you might only want to export customers with an outstanding balance. To do this, use the filters on the left side of the page where you're running the export. Then export the desired data.
Specifically, when exporting invoices, you can choose whether or not to include completed invoices. By default, completed invoices are not exported. If you select the 'Show closed invoices' filter in the bottom-left corner of the invoice page, these invoices will be included in the export.
Where can I find my export in Payt?
After starting an export, you'll receive an email when the export is ready. This may take a few minutes. Then go to 'Exports' next to the Payt logo in the top-left corner. From here, you can download your Excel file.
