Read more on how to collaborate in Payt using the task list.
It is possible to create tasks for invoices, customers, or cases in Payt. You can create a task for yourself or assign one to a colleague.
Adding a new task
A new task can be added on the detail page of an invoice, case, or customer, by clicking on '+ Task' in the top right grey area above the timeline.
When creating a task, you can specify instructions and an end date. For the instructions, you specify what exactly should happen to the invoice/case or customer. The end date can be used for prioritising tasks and sorting the task list. You can then assign the task to yourself or a colleague.
After the invoice is added to the task list, you can see at the top right of the invoice that it is on a task list.
Adding invoices in bulk to the task list
You can also add several invoices, cases, or customers in bulk to the task list. To do so, select the relevant invoices on the 'Invoices' page and click 'Add to task list' under 'Bulk actions'. The same can be applied to customers or cases.
View your task list
The task list can be viewed both at organisational level and in the administration. To check out your administration's task list, open 'Task list' in the menu.
Handling tasks
After clicking on the task list, you will enter the task list, where you can view and complete all tasks. You can complete a task in the list by ticking it and then selecting 'Mark as completed' using the 'Bulk actions' button. A completed task will appear under 'Completed'. It is possible to undo the checkmark within 24 hours. After that, the task is definitely completed.
Please note: It is also possible to finalise tasks in the invoice/customer or case using a tick in the top right of the page where the task is displayed (see the screenshot below).
Deleting a task
A task can only be deleted by the user who created it. A delegated task cannot be completed by the delegate.
Notification open tasks
You can set a daily reminder for open tasks. By clicking on your username in the top right of Payt, you go to your profile. You can then enable notifications under 'Notifications uncompleted tasks'. A notification will be sent if there are tasks that need to be completed today or in the past.
