Sometimes, a claim is not processed by the health insurer. In some cases, you can edit and resubmit the claim directly in Payt without using your practice software. If this is not possible, you will need to adjust the claim in your source system and submit it again via Payt.
What can I edit and resubmit in Payt?
- Treatment date
- Indication of upper/lower dentistry
- Indication for special dentistry
- Kind of special dentistry
- Surface codes
- Practitioner healthcare provider code
- Tooth element code
- Authorization number
- Patient information (date of birth, insurance number)
- Health insurer (UZOVI code)
Note: Any data not listed above cannot be resubmitted from Payt directly. You must therefore change this from the practice software and then resubmit it. Examples of data that cannot be changed are the treatment code and which patient it concerns.
Step-by-step: Editing and resubmitting a claim
Step 1: Check rejected claims
Your dashboard displays an overview of claims that need attention.
Step 2: View rejection details
Open the declaration by clicking on the blue VECOZO number to see more information about the claim.
Step 3: Process the declaration
- Step 3a: If the declaration is partially rejected, first invoice the approved treatment lines.
- Step 3b: Select the rejected treatment line(s) and click 'Actions' > 'Resubmit declaration'.
Step 4: Edit and resubmit the declaration
Make the necessary changes and click 'Resubmit' to send the declaration to the health insurer again.
