Here you can learn how to modify declaration data and resubmit it to the health insurance for a new check.
When submitting a declaration to a health insurer, it may happen that a declaration is not processed. For some of the rejections, it is possible to resubmit directly from Payt, instead of through your dental software. For other rejections, you still need to modify the declaration in your dental software and then submit it again via Payt.
Some rejected declarations can be adjusted in Payt and then resubmitted to the insurer through VECOZO. This allows you to process your returns faster. You are allowed to change the following within Payt:
- Treatment date
- Indication of upper or lower dentistry
- Indication for special dentistry
- Kind of special dentistry
- Surface codes
- Practitioner healthcare provider code
- Tooth element code
- Authorization number
- Patient information (date of birth, insurance number)
- Health insurer (UZOVI code)
What steps do I need to follow?
Step 1: Declarations that need attention appear on your dashboard.
Step 2: Click on the blue VECOZO number next to the relevant declaration to find more information about the rejected declaration.
Step 3a: If the declaration is partially covered by the insurance, you must first create an invoice for the approved treatments.
Step 3b: Select the rejected treatments and click on 'Actions' > 'Resubmit declaration'.
Step 4: Now make the necessary changes and resubmit the declaration via the 'Resubmit' button.
