Every day, we work on new functionality, improved usability and optimal performance of Payt. In December, we also introduced several improvements that we are happy to share with you.
Collecting email addresses in the customer portal
Would you like to encourage your customers more actively to provide an email address, so that as much of your communication as possible can take place via email? Since December, a new setting is available for this in the ‘Customer portal’ tab within the administration settings. To enable this, activate the ‘Collect email addresses’ setting.
Please note: This setting can only be activated if the setting ‘Allow customers to change the general contact email address’ is enabled.

In the online portal, the customer will see a pop-up asking them to provide an email address. This email address will be used immediately and can also be taken over by you in your accounting software.

Viewing flows for payment terms
If you use payment terms and have linked them to specific flows in Payt, you can now see exactly what the flow looks like in the overview of payment terms and flows. To do so, click the eye icon in the row of the relevant payment term.
