Where do I change the email address of my customers in Moneybird?

Payt retrieves two types of email addresses from Moneybird. These are:

  • The email address for sending invoices (also the default email address)
  • Optionally, the email address for reminders

Email address for invoice sending / Default email address

When integrating with Moneybird, the default email address and the email address for sending invoices are the same. Enter this email address on the contact page ('Contact' -> 'Edit' -> 'Sending' -> 'Email address for invoices').

Tip: In Moneybird, you can enter multiple email address per field. Use the plus sign (+) to add an extra email address.

Email address for reminders

Would you like to send reminders to a different email address than the one used for invoices? In Payt, we can use the email address for quotes for this purposes. You can activate this option in your administration settings ('Import' -> 'Options for Moneybird' -> 'Use the estimates email address for reminders').

When this setting is enabled, we will look at the quotes email address as the email address to send reminders to ('Contact' -> 'Edit' -> 'Sending' -> 'Email address for quotes'). Make sure the checkbox 'Use the same data for quotes' is unchecked.
