What is changing in Payt with the introduction of Wero?
Wero will become the new European payment solution. In this support article, you can read what this means for the use of iDEAL in Payt and whether you need to take any action.
What is Wero?
Wero is a new European payment solution that will eventually replace iDEAL. During the transition period, payments via iDEAL will remain available, but the iDEAL brand will gradually be integrated with Wero.
What is changing in Payt?
Payt will update the iDEAL logo to a combined iDEAL/Wero logo. This will be visible in two places:

In the emails sent from Payt

In the online invoice portal
The payment functionality itself will remain exactly the same for the time being. In practice, nothing changes (for now) for your customers in the way they pay online.
Do I need to adjust anything myself?
I use Pay via Payt for my online payments
If you use Pay via Payt, you do not need to take any action. The transition to the combined iDEAL/Wero logo will be handled by Payt.
I use another provider for my online payments
Do you use another provider for online payments, such as Mollie, Stripe, or Rabo Smart Pay? In that case, you will most likely not need to take any action either.
Most Payment Service Providers (PSPs) will handle the transition to Wero themselves. If you are unsure, we recommend briefly checking this with your own PSP.
