How do I connect my own SMS provider?
- Open your organisation settings via the gear icon in the top right corner of Payt.
- Click on the ‘SMS’ tab on the left-hand side.
- Under ‘Integration’, select ‘Create account’.
- Follow the steps to connect your account with Payt.
Please note: You must first create an account with your chosen provider before you can set up the connection in Payt.
How are SMS costs handled when I use my own provider?
If you use your own SMS provider, Payt will no longer invoice you for SMS messages. Instead, you will receive invoices directly from your chosen provider.
Tip: If you use a pre-paid account, make sure you always have enough credit available.
What should I keep in mind when connecting my own SMS provider?
You are responsible for keeping your SMS provider account active. If your account becomes inactive, Payt will no longer be able to send SMS messages. Please note that no error message will appear in Payt when this happens.
