How can I link a bailiff to Payt's debt collection process?

At the end of a debt collection case in Payt, you can choose to involve a bailiff to start a legal collection process.

Please note: Payt is not a debt collection agency. With Payt’s software, you carry out the amicable debt collection process yourself. You always remain responsible for the execution and follow-up of the debt collection process.

Which bailiffs have a direct integration with Payt?

Payt has direct integrations with several bailiffs. You can find these bailiffs in your administration settings in Payt. Follow the steps below:

  1. Open your administration settings via the gear icon in the top right corner of Payt.

  2. Open the ‘Invoicing’ tab on the left-hand side.

  3. Under ‘Judicial collection partners’, you will see the bailiffs with whom Payt has a direct integration.

  4. Click on a bailiff’s logo to read more information and visit their website.

How do I link a bailiff to Payt?

In Payt, you can choose a bailiff with a direct integration, but you can also work with a bailiff outside of Payt.

Bailiff with a direct integration

If you want to link a bailiff that has a direct integration with Payt, follow these steps:

  1. Open your administration settings via the gear icon in the top right corner of Payt.

  2. Open the ‘Invoicing’ tab on the left-hand side.

  3. Under ‘Judicial collection partners’, go to the bailiff you want to work with.

  4. Select ‘Select as my judicial collection partner’.

  5. Save your changes at the bottom of the page.

Bailiff without a direct integration

If you want to work with a bailiff who does not have a direct integration with Payt, you can configure this as follows:

  1. Open your administration settings via the gear icon in the top right corner of Payt.

  2. Open the ‘Invoicing’ tab on the left-hand side.

  3. Under ‘Judicial collection partners’, select ‘Own judicial collection partner’.

  4. Save your changes at the bottom of the page.
