This support article explains how to edit patient details in your dental software and Payt.
Have you submitted a declaration in Payt, but the mail address or postcode, for example, is incorrect? You can still change the patient details.
Please note: the data must be corrected in both Payt and the dental sofware for this to work properly for already loaded invoices and new declarations.
Changing patient details in Payt
Look up the patient in question in Payt. You will then enter an overview of debtor details. At the top right, you will find the ‘Actions’ button. Here, select ‘Update debtor data’:
Here you can update and save the data via ‘Update customer details’:
The data has now been updated in Payt.
Don't see this option in Payt? Then you are probably not using the declaration module. In that case, you can change your customer details in the accounting package. Read more here: How can I modify customer details in Payt?
Changing patient data in your dental software
You have now changed your customer details in Payt. To ensure that the correct information is submitted to Payt with the next declaration, it is important that you also change the patient details in your dental software (e.g. Exquise or OASE). In this way you can be sure that the patient details are correct next time as well.
